The catalog and its terms

Everything Akua lists is one catalog, read through one public API: GET /v1/listings. The same words mean the same thing on the Marketplace, in offer links and in the API.

Term	Meaning
Listing	One catalog entry. Its kind says what it is: software (an app from a public registry or an Akua seller) or server (a dedicated server on sale at a hosting provider).
Offer	The sellable terms attached to a listing: price, license and seller. Free listings have none.
Basket	What a buyer is putting together: software and where it runs. In the API it is an order draft.
Order	A basket that was checked out.
Seller	Sells software through Akua.
Provider	Sells infrastructure, such as servers, that Akua lists.
